Evening on the River

Last year’s Evening on the River was a huge success so we are going to do it again.  Put June 10 on your calendar and pray for good weather.  The cost remains the same--$50 per person.  This year we will be adding to the events and the excitement.  Vectren has agreed to be the major sponsor and their new building will offer a new dimension to the riverfront as will the Old National Bank building.

The money raised at this year’s evening river festival will add to the Greenway Passage’s Maintenance Endowment Fund and the Evansville Parks Foundation plans to help fund a spray park for Garvin Park with their share of the money.

There will be jugglers, music of many varieties, magic acts, Tales and Scales, food at three different stations along the riverfront, horse and buggy rides, and the museum will dedicate the Centennial Gates after which desert and coffee will be served  to dancing with the Temple Airs on the museum’s new patio.

It is a blast so come and join the fun.  Call Robin Hayes at 435-6141 for tickets.
