The Westside Improvement Association, Inc., is a nonprofit organization [501 (c) (3)] which exists solely to act for the betterment of the west side of Vanderburgh County. Read our by-laws. Westside Improvement Association (WIA) holds four general membership meetings each year, including an annual banquet in November. The governing board of directors meets each month not scheduled for general meetings except December. Board of Directors meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of January, March, April, June, July, September, and October at 4 p.m. at Red Bank Branch Library. Serving on one of WIA's standing committees is a great way to get involved in the particular aspects of Westside Improvement that most interest you. We need interested people for the following committees. No particular expertise is needed--just an interest in learning more about west side challenges and opportunities and a desire to make a difference for the better!

We accept contributions to our Shirely James Memorial, Scholarship, Adopt-a-Spot, Fall Festival Booth Improvement, and General funds. Because the WIA is a 501-C-3 Not-for-Profit organization, your contribution may be deductible for income tax purposes. Your tax preparer can advise you.
